Regular Inspection

• Visually inspect the air suspension components for any signs of damage, wear, or leaks. Pay special attention to the air springs, air lines, and the compressor.
• Check for any unusual noises when the system is adjusting the vehicle's height, as this could indicate a problem with the compressor or air springs.

Clean Air Springs

• Keep the air springs clean and free from debris. Dirt and grime can cause wear and tear on the air springs, leading to premature failure.
• Use a mild soap and water solution to clean the air springs, ensuring that no chemicals are left that could degrade the rubber material.

Check System Components

• Ensure that the air lines are securely connected and are not kinked or damaged. Faulty air lines can lead to air leaks, affecting the system's performance.
• Inspect the compressor for any signs of wear or damage. The compressor is a vital component, and its failure can disable the entire air suspension system.

Monitor System Performance

• Pay attention to the vehicle's ride height and ensure that it adjusts as expected. If the system takes too long to adjust or fails to reach the desired height, there may be an issue that needs addressing.
• Listen for the compressor running more frequently than usual, as this could indicate a leak or other problem in the system.

Check Electrical Connections

• Ensure all electrical connections are secure and free from corrosion. Bad electrical connections can result in system malfunctions.
• If you encounter any electrical issues, use a multimeter to check for proper voltage and continuity in the system.

Regular Servicing

• Follow the manufacturer’s recommended service intervals for the air suspension system. This may include more thorough inspections and servicing by a qualified technician.
• Keep records of all maintenance and repairs performed on the system for future reference and warranty purposes.

Software Updates

• Ensure the vehicle’s software is up-to-date as there can be software updates from Ram that improve the performance and reliability of the air suspension system.
• Check with your dealership or a qualified service center to see if any updates are available for your vehicle.

Handling of Vehicle

• Maintain proper driving habits and avoid excessive loads that can place additional strain on the air suspension components.
• Be cautious when driving off-road or over rough terrain to prevent any physical damage to the suspension system.
