Access the Settings Menu
- Start your 2021 Honda CR-V and ensure it's in Park (P).
- Press the Home button located on the steering wheel to access the main menu on the Display Audio screen.
- From the main menu, select the "Settings" option.
Navigate to Driver Assist System Setup
- Once in the Settings menu, scroll down and select "Vehicle."
- In the Vehicle menu, choose "Driver Assist System Setup."
Adjust the Road Departure Mitigation Settings
- Within the Driver Assist System Setup menu, locate and select "Road Departure Mitigation Setting."
- In this menu, you can turn the system on or off, as well as adjust the sensitivity.
- To change the sensitivity, select "Sensitivity" and choose either "Normal" or "Wide."
- "Normal" will provide standard assistance while "Wide" will allow for more lenient boundaries before the system activates.
Verify Settings
- Return to the main screen to ensure the settings have been updated and saved.
- It may be beneficial to take a short drive to ensure that the Road Departure Mitigation system is functioning as desired.
