Gather Necessary Tools and Materials

• Small screwdriver or a similar tool (optional)

Locate the Cabin Air Filter Compartment

• Open the passenger-side door and sit on the passenger seat for easier access.
• Open the glove compartment by using the handle to pull it down.

Access the Filter Housing

• Inside the glove compartment, you will notice retaining clips on either side. These clips hold the glove box in place.
• Gently press in on both sides of the glove compartment to release these clips. This will allow the glove compartment to drop further down, giving you access to the cabin air filter housing.

Remove the Old Cabin Air Filter

• Once the glove compartment is lowered, locate the cabin air filter cover. This is a rectangular panel situated directly behind the glove compartment.
• Press the tab or tabs on the sides of the cover to release it. Carefully pull the cover off to reveal the old air filter.
• Slide the old cabin air filter out of the housing. Be cautious not to spill any trapped debris into the filter housing area.

Install the New Cabin Air Filter

• Take your new cabin air filter and make sure it matches the old one in size and shape.
